About Myself

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog documenting my practicum experience for the University of North Texas. This site serves as a record of the hours I spent learning, growing, and contributing during my internship. I was fortunate to complete my practicum just ten minutes from home at the Beaumont Public Library, which provided the perfect setting to gain hands-on experience in the field.

From the very first day, I was welcomed with open arms by the dedicated and knowledgeable library staff. Their support, encouragement, and willingness to share their expertise made every shift an opportunity to learn something new. Just as rewarding has been the chance to interact with the patrons—each visit reminded me of the library’s important role as a community hub for learning, creativity, and connection.
