Today was divided into three parts during my shift. The first part was the Cozy Story Time, led by Ingrid, who you can see in the picture. This was a one-hour event that included a song, a story, and a pirate-themed craft. The kids were really engaged, watching closely to see how each librarian conducts story time.
The second part of my day involved weeding books in my section, which is JUV. I went through about 60 books in three hours, and my supervisor will review whether I selected the right books to withdraw.
The final part was handling reference by myself, which was exciting because Kelly trusted me with this task. The Patrons were super nice and most of the questions were around tech.
